Marc Napolitano

Marc Napolitano is a first-year graduate student working toward his MA in English. He attended Villanova as an undergraduate and attained his BA last May, graduating summa cum laude. Before graduation, he was inducted into the English Honor Society, Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges 2004, and Phi Beta Kappa. Last year, he won the Jerome J. Fischer Memorial Award for his essay "Of Castles and Capitalists: The Role of John Wemmick in Great Expectations," and he recently received the Margaret Powell Esmonde Memorial Award for another paper entitled "The Native Foreigner: Leopold Bloom and the Irish-Jewish Correlation." Marc also teaches 8th grade English at Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Bryn Mawr. He wrote "Female Freedom Fighters" for a graduate course on the Concord Writers, and wishes to dedicate the paper to his professor, Dr. Sterling Delano, for his encouragement, support, and inspiration.
