Katharine Chandler
Katharine Chandler is an M.A. student in History. She is a rare books librarian at the Free Library of Philadelphia, where she specializes in medieval manuscripts. Ms. Chandler holds an A. B. from Smith College in Medieval Studies and English Language & Literature, and an M.L.S. from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Ms. Chandler would like to thank Dr. Alexander Varias, whose twentieth-century Europe course inspired this paper.
