Peer Review Process

CONCEPT is a graduate student-run publication. Given the breadth of the Graduate Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, to ensure fair review of submissions it is vitally important to have editors and reviewers representing as many disciplines as possible. Each submission is reviewed by, at minimum, two peers reviewers, a Graduate Student Editor and a Faculty Editor. Peer Reviewers are asked to review between 2 and 5 submissions, and the typical time scheduled for review is 3 weeks. If you are interested in sevrice as a Graduate Student Editor, please contact the Managing Editor, Dr. John Kurtz, before November 1. Graduate students interested in serving as peer reviewers should contact the Managing Editor before January 15.
