Kelsey N. Borrowman is a second-year Ph.D. student in the department of philosophy. She received her B.A. in Philosophy and History from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2010, and completed a Masters in Philosophy and the Arts at Stony Brook University in 2012. She is currently an Editorial Assistant at Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy. Working primarily in French and Italian thought, phenomenology, and queer theory, her interests include the epistemological foundations and material conditions that contribute to and result in living our bodies in particular ways, especially with regard to gender and illness.
