Karen E. Sause

Karen E. Sause is a second-year M.A. student in the History program where she is concentrating in Atlantic World studies. She graduated from Gettysburg College in 2005 with a B.A. in History and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Colonial American studies focusing on Native American history while also melding her interests in Environmental and Atlantic World history. Her article “'Strange Ceremonies and Magic Arts'” was written for Dr. Simon Finger’s course Emerging American Nation and Karen wishes to express her gratitude to Dr. Finger for his guidance and commentary on this project.
